New features in Gmail / Google Apps email when adding attachments:
You can now select multiple files from the same folder for attachment simultaneously. To upload multiple attachments from the same folder, click ‘Attach a file’, browse to a folder, hold down the Ctrl key (Cmd on OSX) and click on each file you want to attach to your message. You can hold down the Shift key to select a continuous list of files.
Now you can see the upload progress on for each attachment as it loads
This feature is available with Standard, Premier, Education and Partner Editions in all languages.
