Gmail has given a new feature again – this time with Contacts in Gmail. You can now associate one email address with more than one contact in Gmail’s contact manager. This feature is available to all editions – Standard, Premier, Education, Team and Partner Editions.
This feature is useful as in many organizations or families same email is shared by many persons.
How to associate one email with multiple contacts?
- Click ‘Contacts’ from your Gmail inbox
- Select ‘+’ to create a new contact
- Enter your contact’s information and click ‘Save’
- Now follow the above steps to create another contact with a different ‘Name’, but same ‘Email’.
