Basic Image Editing Tools in WordPress 2.9

The WordPress developers Team is working now on new upcoming wordpress 2.9 and soon it will be released as a stable release.The next edition of WordPress would include some basic image editing tools as We have got the news that there will be two important changes in new wordpress 2.9. The one is about image editing and other one is for database.

Bloggers would be able to edit their uploaded images from the WordPress backend.Some basic features would be provided like cropping, resizing and rotation of images.This new feature addition would come handy for casual bloggers who are not comfortable using offline tools.These new features would also help bloggers who are on the move and are blogging from non-personal computers.

Though the image editing tools are pretty basic, it is an excellent start and will definitely be very useful for bloggers who use images very frequently. Now lets see if it actually makes it to the final release.
