VMware’s New Cloud Application Development Platform Launched. VMware is now able to produce Java applications modified to run in VMware virtual machines on a cloud cluster.
VMware officials named the expanded Spring Framework as the VMware vFabric, GemFire, a data-caching middleware, speeding up the application response by dragging data into the RAM.
Spring which is an open source code framework for Java developers, Developers of lightweight applications for internet-based operations. It uses simple Java objects that are much easier to build rather than the Enterprise Java Beans. Former GM of the SpringSource revealed that VMware Fabric constitutes of integrated horizontal services but they are different from the Java development framework. According to the latest reports from the sources, they planning to to serve many other languages as a part of the platform, such as PHP and Ruby on Rails.
