Orion, a new 1GHz Arm Cortex A9 dual-core processor intended for mobile computers. It is one of the first Dual core processor for mobiles Samsung has been keeping itself very updated in this amazing technology as Smartphone makers increasing demanding of their processor suppliers.Dual-core really means More processing power for high definition videos and smoother 3D graphics .
Orion processors include a 32KB data cache and a matching 32KB instruction cache, along with a 1MB L2 cache for improving overall speed and performance.Orion has full HD 1080p recording and 30fps video playback and can be paired up with several different storage and memory options.Samsung Orion processor will change the way we use mobile devices. We have to wait for Orion as its avialability of mass production during the first six months of next year 2011 being announced.
