WinMHR: Free Download Virus Scanning Software

WinMHR (Windows Malware Hash Registry) is a virus scanner software from Team Cymru, that provides a similar function as the VirusTotal website but with some additional features, and more to come.

WinMHR is not something which can be used in place of a free antivirus software. It is supposed to complement the existing antivirus software. WinMHR checks the hash value of a file and compares it with the server values to determine whether it is a malware or not.
