DriveGleam is a hardware activity monitor to see activity of RAM, CPU, hard drive, virtual memory and more. Drivegleam basically puts activity indicators so that you can monitor each local drive activity along with RAM and CPU usage.
DriveGleam is an usefull app in some situations like your computer is hidden under the table and you can’t see the hard drive activity indicator. It can assign a separate indicator for each hard disk connected with the system when you are using multiple external hard drives with your system.
Once the application is launched it will automatically populate the list with all the drives (internal & external), CPU cores, while offering options to monitor RAM usage, NIC (Network Identification Cards) units, and Virtual memory usage. Just enable the Drive(s), Ram unit, NIC options from the list and click Apply to monitor specified elements’ activities in system tray.
Ther is an option Output to parallel port, which refers to selecting number of data lines on the parallel port to be set high on Read/Write operations and Show in tray, which enables you to toggle system tray indicator on/off. Drivegleam uses less than 10 Megabytes of computer memory while running and the program is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of most Windows operating systems, including the latest OS Windows 7.
