Opera has finally introduced a new version of desktop web browser Opera 11 beta for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. It comes with a number of new features among the most important is tab stacking, a new way to organize tabs into one group in order to reduce clutter.
In Opera 11, users can drag and drop open tabs to create a stack, or collection of tabs, on the tab bar, then preview the contents of a stack or re-open them as separate tabs.
Other additions include increased support for HTML5 and geolocation, enhancements to the browser’s security systems, and better development tools, designed to bring Opera on par with recent advancements introduced in other desktop and mobile browsers.
Opera 11 is available as a free download directly from the Opera website.
