HP PalmPad set to launch

Hewlett-Packard plans to launch a WebOS-based tablet at Consumer Electronics Show in January 2011, according to a new online report. According to Fox, there will be three different variations of the HP PalmPad announced.
All the three Palm tablets would come with slightly different hardware and boast of features like and HDMI out, USB 3.0 support and of course, front and rear cameras and they will all run a yet to be announced version of webOS, webOS 2.5.1.
Fox also has some supposed specifications for the HP PalmPad, which include a mini HDMI port, a front facing video camera, and a rear three megapixel camera with LED flash. Other specifications include a display similar to that of the iPad in terms of size, and the PalmPad is also supposed to be thinner than the Apple iPad.
