Follow these simple steps to perform a soft reset on the Nokia N8:
- Go into the Nokia N8’s main menu
- Tap Settings
- Then go into Phone
- Scroll down to Phone mgmt
- Select Factory Settings
- Now you’ll be presented with two options: “restore” and “delete data and restore”
- Select Restore
The phone will now restored to its original factory setup, but none of your data or apps will be erased.
