Sony has announced a new VAIO S notebook at the CES 2011. The new Sony VAIO S is a 13-inch lightweight notebook runs on Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology. It features a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD and NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics with 512MB GDDR3 VRAM.
The notebook hard drive is protected by a new “G-sensor” shock protection system to help protect your data from impacts and its chassis is made of durable magnesium alloy. VAIO S notebook selection of ports include three USB, HDMI and VGA out, Firewire, an Ethernet jack, and headphone and mic ports. Pricing for the VAIO S starts at $900.
