The 7-inch model adopts Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor and Google Android 3.0, and is manufactured by Compal Electronics. The launch of the Iconia Tab A500 and W500 10-inch tablet PCs, will launch a 7-inch model, Iconia Tab A100, in late April or May 2011.

The operation of 10-inch models is different from 7-inch models,10-inch model has to control with two hands. Acer believes the 7-inch model will be comfortable to hold in one hand only and we will control it with other hand. So Customer likes to use this 7-inch model.

With Acer’s Iconic Tab and Lenovo’s Le Pad both shipping, market watchers believe Compal’s tablet PC shipments will grow from 100,000-150,000 units per month to 200,000 units after March.
